Role. Senior Computer Scientist
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams and leadership to provide architectural expertise and design mentorship.
- Architect, develop, and enhance features for Adobe InDesign, Adobe InCopy, and Adobe InDesign Server.
- Work with UI/UX designers, other Architects, and Product Managers to implement modern, intuitive features.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of products, including expansion from desktop to web platforms.
- Focus on performance optimizations, usability improvements, and product stability.
- Mentor and guide other engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 13 years of relevant experience in software development.
- Proficiency in C++, strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in architecting and building web applications that function seamlessly across different browsers; mobile/desktop interaction experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of system architectures and designs.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to deliver high-quality work independently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively articulate technical decisions and influence stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agile environment on complex software products.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and project needs.
