We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making for our digital marketing efforts. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing performance across various online marketing channels, including paid search, metasearch, display advertising, and social media marketing. Your insights will help optimize our marketing spend, improve campaign efficiency, and enhance our overall digital presence. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Marketing, Product, and Data Science teams to influence key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights
- Utilize SQL, Python, and other data analysis tools to extract insights from large datasets and identify trends in marketing campaign performance.
- Monitor and analyze marketing effectiveness across multiple digital channels such as social media, paid search, display advertising, and metasearch engines.
- Develop data-driven recommendations for optimizing keyword bidding, campaign targeting, and budget allocation to maximize return on investment (ROI).
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Define and track key marketing metrics (e.g., CPM, CPC, CPA, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost) to assess performance.
- Implement A/B testing strategies by identifying test cases, developing hypotheses, and analyzing results to improve campaign efficiency.
- Work closely with marketing teams to refine audience segmentation, targeting strategies, and bidding techniques based on performance insights.
Dashboarding & Reporting
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools to provide clear, real-time insights into marketing performance.
- Present findings through visual storytelling, ensuring complex data is communicated effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Generate regular reports to highlight key trends, areas of improvement, and strategic recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Marketing, Product, and Data Science teams to enhance marketing strategies and drive data-informed decisions.
- Provide insights on user behavior, engagement, and conversion patterns to support strategic marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with finance and executive teams to align marketing investments with overall business goals.
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, marketing analytics, or digital marketing within a data-driven organization.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, extraction, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts, including keyword bidding strategies, CPM, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and customer lifetime value (CLV).
- Proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with statistical analysis, A/B testing, and predictive modeling.
- Knowledge of R programming for data analysis and statistical computing.
- Strong skills in Excel for data manipulation and modeling.
- Experience working with marketing automation tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
