Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the technical roadmap and implement data-driven business solutions.
- Champion technical standards and best practices, continuously improving AI Platform engineering scalability.
- Architect and design AI Platform services using Golang, Java, and Python, including Machine Learning Engines, Streaming Computing Systems, and more.
- Coordinate implementation efforts among development teams to ensure system performance, security, scalability, and availability.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, contributing to talent pipeline growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in distributed microservices systems and development experience with Golang, C/C++, or Java.
- Expertise in real-time streaming systems (Spark, Flink, Kafka), Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with operational tools such as Splunk, Humio, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Strong leadership skills with 5+ years of experience leading development teams.
- Deep understanding of Big Data Hadoop, J2EE, and Spark for large-scale transaction systems.
- Proven ability to solve complex software development/design challenges and write clean, coherent code.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a preference for Agile/Scrum experience.
- Passion for delivering high-quality code and managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Highly driven, resourceful, and results-oriented, with the ability to lead through ambiguity.
- Previous experience in the payments industry is preferred.
