As a Senior Data Scientist on the Microsoft Teams Data Science team, you'll be at the forefront of driving data-driven insights to improve Microsoft Teams' phone calling experiences. Microsoft Teams Phone offers enterprise-grade calling solutions, facilitating seamless communication for millions of users worldwide. In this role, you'll collaborate cross-functionally, translating business challenges into data-driven solutions and leveraging analytical techniques to uncover key insights that influence product enhancements.

Responsibilities
- Data-driven Problem Solving. Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business problems into data-driven solutions, leveraging analytical skills to uncover key insights.
- Model Development. Develop models of usage, user behavior, and business behavior to make data-informed recommendations and influence product roadmaps.
- Experimentation and Analysis. Champion A/B testing, designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to attribute product changes accurately.
- Analytical Tools Utilization. Utilize tools like SQL, R, Python, and others to execute analyses and derive actionable insights.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field, with corresponding years of experience.
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or related tools for large-scale data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leveraging statistics for experimentation and statistical modeling.
- Previous experience as a data scientist for online services, apps, or websites with millions of users.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analysis and insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
