We are seeking a Marketing Technology Lead with expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to oversee the design, configuration, and delivery of sophisticated marketing technology solutions. This role involves building advanced ETL processes, extending product functionalities, and managing large-scale communications with dynamic content in real time. The ideal candidate will lead business discussions, engage with stakeholders, and ensure the technical delivery meets business expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SFMC Projects. Design, develop, and manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, including Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder, and Interaction Studio.
- Technical Expertise. Oversee the technical delivery of SFMC projects, including analysis, development, testing, and documentation. Provide hands-on support for SFMC administration and enhancements.
- Cross-Channel Marketing. Apply knowledge of X-channel marketing practices to guide business discussions and ensure effective implementation.
- Performance Monitoring. Ensure systems meet defined expectations, including performance and security requirements. Implement comprehensive testing and monitor system performance.
- Risk Management. Identify technical design risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Provide accurate effort estimates for technical solutions.
- Collaboration. Track user stories at the task level, plan deliverables, and consult with the team to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- Experience. Minimum of 4 years with the SFMC platform and over 1 year in leading campaign management technology implementations.
- Technical Skills
- 5+ years of experience in SQL development and ETL implementations.
- 5+ years of scripting/programming experience, with a preference for JavaScript.
- 5+ years of enterprise software implementation experience.
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge. Familiarity with CRM and marketing applications, basic marketing concepts such as Campaign ROI metrics and KRAs.
- Certifications. Any campaign-related certification is a plus.
- Soft Skills. Strong ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences, eagerness to learn new technologies, and experience in technology integrations with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
