Job Description

Join a prominent scientific company in a fully remote role as a Senior Events Manager specializing in CVENT. You will be instrumental in planning and coordinating large-scale events, occasionally working swing shifts to accommodate US hours.

Pay Range. 23LPA - 25LPA/Hr ($14 USD/Hr)

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize extensive expertise and CVENT certifications in Event Management Advanced, Attendee Hub, and Venue Sourcing to manage multiple events with 100-1800 attendees each.
  • Build and maintain CVENT event registration sites according to business partner and Event Manager directives, ensuring strict adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Monitor CVENT event registration sites daily to uphold data integrity, utilizing CVENT and Excel for accurate reporting.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for attendees, promptly addressing registration inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Develop event messaging and project plans in collaboration with Event Managers, setting clear deadlines for the registration process.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines across all stakeholders, proactively troubleshooting potential issues to maintain project timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with the AMEX Group Travel desk to coordinate air bookings and manage Arrival/Departure manifests effectively.
  • Manage the personalized session assignment process for attendees, utilizing Microsoft Mail-Merge for efficient data management across multiple templates.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of large housing contracts, including attrition, forecasting, and pick-up trends.
  • Create and maintain housing block patterns, ensuring contractual obligations are met seamlessly.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with CVENT, including certifications in Event Management Advanced, Attendee Hub, and Venue Sourcing.
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end event registration processes for large-scale events.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of providing timely and professional responses to attendee inquiries and issues.
  • Strong project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Mail-Merge functionality and its application in personalized attendee communications.
  • Knowledge of logistical considerations related to large housing contracts, ensuring compliance and optimization of contractual blocks.
