We are seeking a detail-oriented Cloud Financial Analyst to join our team. This role involves managing financial aspects related to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for tracking cloud spend, validating billing accuracy, and providing detailed reporting to management. This position requires a strong understanding of cloud services, financial analysis, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and manage the sourcing process for AWS, Azure, and/or GCP services.
- Demonstrate financial proficiency in analyzing costs related to EC2, storage, and networking services for AWS and Azure.
- Track AWS, Azure, and/or GCP spend and manage marketplace offerings effectively.
- Assist in the approval process of Statements of Work (SOW) and Training initiatives related to cloud services.
- Internally track project growth and process monthly cloud billing and chargebacks.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance team on chargeback code changes and ensure accuracy in cloud utilization and billing data.
- Provide weekly detailed reports to Management on usage and credit verifications.
- Support IT Cloud Optimization Analyst and other IT professionals in cloud-related tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or Accounting preferred; equivalent of 2+ years of professional work experience as a cloud analyst will be considered.
- Maintain technical proficiency through AWS, Azure, and GCP webinars, self-paced training, and completing AWS Practitioner Training.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook email.
- Minimum 12 months of experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP portals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of English.
