We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced React Lead Developer with expertise in Next.js. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining cutting-edge web applications, collaborating closely with both design and backend teams. You will take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept through design, testing, and deployment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating efficient, scalable, and user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development
- Translate wireframes and mockups from the design team into fully functional, high-performance web applications using Next.js and React.
- Develop clean, reusable, and scalable code to support maintainable applications.
Performance Optimization
- Monitor and enhance application performance to ensure fast loading times, responsiveness, and smooth user interactions.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to maintain high standards of web application speed and efficiency.
Responsive Design Implementation
- Apply responsive design principles, ensuring that web applications deliver a seamless user experience across devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
Integration with Backend Services
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs, ensuring smooth and efficient data flow between client and server.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging of web applications to ensure high reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide quick resolutions to improve the quality of the application.
Continuous Improvement & Learning
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in Next.js, React, and web development as a whole.
- Apply modern development tools and workflows (e.g., Git, CI/CD) to enhance productivity and collaboration.
Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on React.js and Next.js.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend components with backend logic.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and ability to implement UI/UX designs that are mobile-friendly.
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for both client-side and server-side rendering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux or Context API is a plus.
