We are seeking a seasoned Senior Test Manager/Program Test Manager with extensive experience in test management and testing environments, particularly within the banking domain and core banking platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education will be considered.
- At least 12-14 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Tertiary Qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage test resources embedded into Agile teams for System Testing (ST) and Integration Acceptance Testing (IAT) phases.
- Develop and socialize an approach for transition from AS-IS to TO-BE processes.
- Develop and execute on a testing strategy, test design, and design the test automation framework to uplift testing delivery.
- Manage test execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Contribute to PI planning and estimate testing efforts.
- Provide technical and stakeholder management guidance to onshore leads.
- Implement test-driven development and shift testing responsibility left.
- Develop robust automation capabilities and embed them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop valuable agile quality/testing metrics.
- Deliver in Scaled Agile Framework environments.
- Work on transformation programs in the banking domain.
- Leverage legacy systems like MF Cobol Unix, JCL, and DB2.
- Knowledge of HOGAN CORE banking systems is preferable.
- Expertise in transaction processing and data migration testing.
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience in test management and automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber-BDD, Java Scripting, Rest Assured API automation, Selenium Grid, Maven, Gradle, Git, Bitbucket, ALM/JIRA XRAY.
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins/Bamboo.
- Applied understanding and experience of Design Thinking, Process Design & Lean Methodology, Agile, LD, JAD, RAD, Scrum, SDLC, and SAFE.
- Strong stakeholder and program management skills.
- Ability to develop optimal team structures and clear accountabilities.
- Experience in developing strategic business plans aligned with enterprise testing services' strategic objectives.
