Gartner is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead and manage projects within an agile framework. This role involves overseeing day-to-day project management activities, ensuring that project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables are tracked and aligned with our high standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale enterprise projects, driving Agile/Scrum processes, and ensuring effective communication across diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and goals.
- Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration across teams.
- Proactively identify, manage, and resolve risks and issues, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders and implementation of solutions.
- Lead pilot programs and proof of concept (POC) initiatives with precision.
- Manage requirement gathering, application design, and comprehensive end-to-end testing cycles.
- Implement Agile/Scrum processes effectively and provide team-level coaching to maximize benefits.
- Coordinate the smooth operation of projects, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategy and goals.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and establish credibility with business units and IT partners.
- Manage projects involving Salesforce platforms, DevOps operations, and application security.
What You’ll Need
- Experience. 7+ years in IT with 5+ years in a Project Management environment, including significant experience in Agile Scrum methodologies and full software development lifecycle.
- Skills. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills, and a proven track record of effective communication.
- Knowledge. Deep understanding of Agile Software Development Methodology, programming documentation processes, and experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong ability to manage ambiguity, solve complex problems, and lead with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
