Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated DCT Policy QA Analyst with robust business acumen to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and functionality of our Duck Creek Commercial Lines Policy module through thorough User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Your efforts will directly contribute to the seamless integration of technology with business needs, driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Execute comprehensive UAT test cases for the Duck Creek Commercial Lines Policy module, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  2. Test Case Preparation and Execution. Prepare detailed UAT test cases and meticulously execute them to validate system functionality and business logic.
  3. Collaboration with Business Users. Work closely with business stakeholders to deeply understand their operational needs and translate them into effective UAT scenarios.
  4. Facilitate Communication. Act as a bridge between business users and the IT development team, facilitating clear communication and ensuring mutual understanding of requirements.
  5. Defect Identification and Tracking. Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Ensure defects are resolved promptly and conduct retesting as necessary.
  6. Reporting and Documentation. Provide comprehensive test reports and summaries to stakeholders, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and test coverage insights.
  7. Adherence to Best Practices. Ensure adherence to established testing best practices, methodologies, and quality standards to maintain consistency and reliability in testing processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within the insurance industry, specifically with Duck Creek Commercial Lines Policy module.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and requirements gathering.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Certification in Quality Assurance (QA) or relevant industry certifications is a plus.
