GlobalLogic is looking for a skilled and passionate Senior React Developer to join our dynamic frontend team. In this role, you will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex user interfaces using modern React.js and TypeScript. You’ll play a key part in transforming business requirements into high-performance, maintainable web applications while collaborating with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and product managers.

Key Responsibilities
Frontend Architecture & Development
- Design and develop scalable, performant, and reusable React components using TypeScript.
- Architect efficient and modular front-end systems that can scale across various projects.
- Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code with pixel-perfect accuracy.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through thoughtful code reviews and continuous refactoring.
Collaboration & Technical Leadership
- Collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and backend engineers to deliver robust and user-centric features.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and peers.
- Lead architectural discussions and proactively contribute to design and development decisions.
- Present system architecture through diagrams using tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, or similar.
Performance Optimization
- Continuously monitor frontend performance and proactively address performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize rendering, reduce memory leaks, and ensure fast load times and responsiveness.
Modern Frontend Tooling & Workflows
- Manage and configure modern front-end build systems using tools like Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
- Implement and maintain state management solutions using tools such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
- Work with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services to fetch and manipulate data efficiently.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Participate in the CI/CD lifecycle and contribute to automating build and deployment pipelines.
UI/UX Excellence
- Convert Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD designs into responsive, accessible (a11y-compliant) user interfaces.
- Advocate for and implement accessibility standards across all UI components.
Innovation & Best Practices
- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in the React ecosystem.
- Promote modern development approaches such as atomic design, component-driven development, and performance-first coding.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Documentation & Maintainability
- Write clean, self-explanatory, and maintainable code with proper documentation.
- Maintain comprehensive internal documentation for shared libraries, custom hooks, and utility functions.
Key Skills & Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript (proficiency rated 3+/5).
- Strong experience with CSS-in-JS solutions such as Emotion, Styled Components, or similar.
- Exposure to Next.js is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Experience contributing to UI/UX design discussions and proposing frontend architecture improvements.
- Good understanding of SEO principles as they apply to client-side rendered applications.
- Familiarity with drawing tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, or similar for creating architectural and system design diagrams.
- Sound knowledge of design principles and frontend best practices.
- Comfortable with writing unit/integration tests and participating in CI/CD workflows.
- Strong communication skills (rated 4+/5), both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
