We are seeking a well-qualified and experienced Software Engineer with strong test-driven development experience and a desire to make an impact. For this senior position, we are looking for a full stack developer who has experience in multiple aspects of the typical web stack, including web programming, architecture, service creation, data modeling, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Use your technical knowledge to build and shape a patient-centric digital platform that supports patients throughout their healthcare journey
- Collaborate with third party enterprise software providers; GlobeHealer has a technical partnership with EMC2.
- Demonstrate a passion for Agile methodologies and a willingness to be part of Agile teams
- Provide technical guidance to junior members of the team
- Assist in the interview process for new developers and mentored junior developers
Position Requirements
Formal Education
- Solid computer science fundamentals (theory, data structures, algorithms)
- BS/MS in computer science, information systems, or another rigorous discipline is required.
- An advanced degree in one of these fields is a plus, but not a requirement.
Programming Skills
8+ years Web development experience in 5 of the following:
- Javascript and HTML
- Java with Spring
- Expertise in Ruby language and Rails Framework
- Hands on HTML 5, JS, JQuery, Node and latest JS frameworks and libraries
- Good understanding and hands on writing middle layer framework and libraries using C++, C#, or Ruby
- Strong understanding database management (My SQL and SQL queries)
- Knowledge of No SQL database Mongo DB
- Experience in OOP using C++ or similar programming language
- Hands on experience with web services (JSON)
- Visual Studio and .NET Framework.
Knowledge & Experience
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming methodologies
- Ability to debug and resolve difficult technical problems.
- Ability to determine the feasibility of projects in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
- Experience with 3rd party software integration.
- Exposure to iterative and incremental agile software development methodology.
- Operated in Full Stack Agile, extreme programming style (XP)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of agile methodologies.
- Made major contributions to the design/architecture of one or more projects
- Experience with Azure or AWS
