We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - AI with expertise in both classic and generative AI techniques. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Python-based applications that align with our Research & Consulting Delivery strategy. What You’ll Do
- Lead and deliver client engagements that utilize AI within tight deadlines, often on the order of a few weeks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AI tools, techniques, and frameworks to ensure we are leveraging the most effective solutions.
- Rapidly build proofs of concept to test and adapt to evolving market needs.
- Support the development of internal applications aimed at improving productivity and efficiency for our associates.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven insights into business processes and decision-making.
- Optimize AI models for performance, accuracy, and reliability.
- Implement observability and monitoring frameworks to measure the effectiveness of AI solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can provide significant value.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in classic AI techniques.
- Proven experience in developing applications for knowledge search and summarization.
- Familiarity with frameworks for evaluating and comparing generative AI models, as well as techniques for improving accuracy and helpfulness.
- Strong expertise in agentic AI frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embedding models, and vector databases.
- Hands-on experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, NumPy, and SciPy.
- Practical experience deploying applications to cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and proficiency with tools like Jira and GitHub.
- Ability to run short development cycles effectively and deliver high-quality software solutions.
