Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer for Android, you will be part of the PayU Finance team, influencing the adoption of cutting-edge technology to enhance code quality. Your responsibilities include scaling mobile app development, refining processes, and tools for better collaboration. You will take ownership of end-to-end feature development, ensuring product quality and reliability. Additionally, you'll contribute to brainstorming new architectures, exploring emerging mobile technologies, and driving performance improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
- Over 3 years of experience in Android mobile application development.
- Strong understanding of Android Architecture, Framework, Android SDK, Core Java, Android Studio IDE, and Android Debugger.
- Familiarity with design principles and MV* architectures (MVP/MVI/MVVM, etc.).
- Proficient in Kotlin with a focus on writing idiomatic and clean code.
- Experience in benchmarking and optimization through CPU/Network profilers.
- In-depth understanding of the Android app lifecycle and clean architectures.
- Expertise in writing Unit/UI Tests to enhance overall code quality.
- Proficiency in Android components: Activity, Services, Intent, Broadcast Receiver, Content Provider.
- Familiarity with versioning tools like Git or SVN.
