LinkedIn is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative engineering team in Bengaluru. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on designing, developing, and supporting high-impact features and infrastructure that scale across the globe. Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable, distributed applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and user-centric design.
- Apply synchronous and asynchronous design patterns to make architectural trade-offs and deliver high-quality code swiftly.
- Build and maintain multi-tier applications that ensure 24x7 reliability and high-volume performance.
- Produce high-quality software with unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
- Identify and advocate for engineering productivity improvements and best practices.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience in Java and/or C++.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a deep understanding of computer science principles.
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Advanced skills in object-oriented design, coding, and testing patterns in Java and/or C++.
- Proven ability to build web applications and services, and experience with general development practices and IDEs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen interest in learning new programming languages and technologies as needed.
