Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions that are critical to Google’s mission. You will also have the flexibility to move between teams and projects as you grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and test code for product or system development.
  • Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders, making informed decisions on technology choices.
  • Review code from other developers, providing feedback to ensure adherence to best practices, including style guidelines, code accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to and update existing documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
  • Triage, debug, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and assessing their impact on hardware, network, or service operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • 1 year of experience in software design and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience in developing accessible technologies.
