We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Frontend to join our team in Bangalore, India. You will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing our sales and support experiences, contributing directly to LinkedIn's ambitious revenue goals exceeding $10 billion. Specifically, you'll focus on building the Next Gen Provisioning, Tax & Payments Systems within the LinkedIn Business Platform, a top priority for FY25.
Responsibilities
- Own frontend development for one or more products, collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to launch new features and enhance existing ones.
- Implement cutting-edge technologies to maintain LinkedIn's technological edge, ensuring our platform is secure, performant, and accessible.
- Drive the development of secure distributed transactions across multiple data centers, ensuring compliance with PCI and SOX standards.
- Mentor peers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with semantic HTML, CSS, and object-oriented JavaScript, including frameworks like jQuery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as EmberJS or React.
- Experience developing scalable, reliable applications operating 24x7.
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and UI/animation frameworks.
- Familiarity with touch UI and MVP application design principles.
