AT&T is looking Senior Software Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia.

You must bring:
 

  • A proven track record in a software development role
  • A proven track record in application design
  • A proven track record in delivering applications using a modern language such as Java, and associated industry standard frameworks, such as Spring.
  • Proven technical troubleshooting skills
  • Proven technical operations skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile Scrum, Kanban, and DevSecOps
  • Experience with modern build pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, and automated deploy/configuration tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Experience with Linux shells, and scripting in bash, ksh, perl, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of public cloud deployment patterns
  • A desire to work as part of a team
     

Major initiatives our team is working on:
 

  • Migrating AT&T applications to the public cloud
  • Optimizing AT&T applications in the public cloud
  • Defining roadmaps and patterns for developer and delivery team ecosystems in the public cloud
  • Designing, developing, delivering, and enhancing tools and support platforms to improve developer productivity and application security.
  • Operating, improving, enhancing, supporting, and evolving our agile delivery and developer platforms, including Jira, Git, Maven, SonarQube, Zephyr, and Matomo


Education: Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.
 

Experience: Typically requires 5-8 years software development experience.
