Job Description

You will be joining the Global Business Resilience team within our Governance, Risk, & Compliance department. This team is dedicated to Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and Emergency Management. Operating on a global scale while maintaining local relationships, our team plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization's resilience.

Responsibilities

  1. Global Crisis Management. Support and enhance the global crisis management program, ensuring its effectiveness across different time zones and global operations.
  2. Strategy Development. Lead the creation and continuous improvement of crisis management and incident response strategies, including detailed plans and playbooks tailored to both global and local needs.
  3. Training & Awareness. Develop and implement comprehensive crisis management training programs to ensure that team members are well-prepared for various crisis scenarios, with a focus on cross-time zone management.
  4. Risk Frameworks. Develop and refine frameworks and methodologies for identifying, analyzing, assessing, addressing, and monitoring risks, enhancing our global and local crisis management capabilities.
  5. Adoption & Culture. Promote and embed risk management frameworks and methodologies throughout the organization, fostering a culture of preparedness and resilience.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Experience. Hands-on experience in managing incidents and crises with proven ability to make decisive actions under pressure and lead through challenging situations.
  2. Resilience Expertise. Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing assurance strategies related to Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, and Emergency Management.
  3. Risk Management. Solid background in risk assessment and management, including familiarity with risk management frameworks and qualitative and quantitative risk analysis techniques.
  4. Cross-functional Leadership. Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively across departments, driving change and resilience practices through strong leadership and communication skills.
  5. Training Experience. Proven track record in developing and conducting resilience training programs and exercises to enhance organizational preparedness.
  6. Compliance Knowledge. Understanding of compliance standards and frameworks related to resilience, such as ISO 22301, and experience with leading assurance activities.

Desirable Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree. In Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, Emergency Management, or a related field.
  2. Master’s Degree (Preferred). In Information Technology, Communications, Risk Management, or a related field, demonstrating advanced understanding and commitment.
  3. Experience. 5+ years of experience in driving crisis management capabilities within a global organization.
