As a Senior Technical DevOps Engineer, you will engineer enterprise-level solutions for CI/CD and Cloud automation. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing robust Cloud engineering and DevOps practices throughout the technology lifecycle, enhancing efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- DevSecOps Practices. Architect security solutions in collaboration with engineering and product teams, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Cloud Native Adoption. Strategize DevOps and Cloud engineering architectures, leading the discovery phase of Cloud migration.
- Automation and Resilience. Automate change management processes, ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability for Agile release trains.
- Collaboration. Work with Release Engineering, Product Development, and Security teams to enable canary deployments and continuous delivery.
- Continuous Integration and Delivery. Maintain a healthy CI/CD platform, focusing on automation and high-quality coding for technology products.
- Environment Management. Build and operate environments for software development and deployment following cloud application design principles.
- Technical Advisory. Provide guidance to teams on automating service management and infrastructure management, focusing on cybersecurity.
- Site Reliability. Ensure system availability, performance, and monitoring, acting as a bridge between development and operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience. Minimum of 5 years in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
- Automation Skills. Proficient in CI/CD implementation for microservices architecture using GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins.
- Containerization. Experience with containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, OpenShift, and HELM.
- Linux Management. Familiarity with provisioning tools (Ansible, Puppet) and virtualization (VMware, KVM).
- Infrastructure Automation. Experience with Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
- Cloud Environment. Extensive knowledge of AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud best practices.
- Monitoring Tools. Expertise in systems monitoring and analytics using AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
- Certifications. Professional certifications in DevOps, Cloud, or related fields are highly desirable.
