We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SecOps Developer with over 8 years of specialized expertise in Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires deep technical knowledge, hands-on configuration skills, and the ability to lead a team to ensure seamless and secure implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Configure SecOps Modules. Lead the configuration of ServiceNow’s Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response modules to address security and vulnerability management needs.
- Vulnerability Integration. Integrate Vulnerability Response applications with third-party vulnerability scanner tools to ensure accurate and timely detection and response capabilities.
- Security Incident Management. Establish and manage workflows within the Security Incident Response application, ensuring adherence to organizational security processes.
- Platform Development. Design, develop, and deploy customized solutions on the ServiceNow platform to streamline and enhance SecOps functionalities.
- Scripting & Customization. Utilize scripting languages such as JavaScript and AngularJS to extend ServiceNow’s functionality, developing scripts and customizations as required.
- Third-Party Integration. Integrate various third-party security tools, systems, and APIs with ServiceNow to enhance security data and incident handling capabilities.
- Project Leadership. Lead a team of consultants in end-to-end project implementation tasks, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and aligned with organizational goals.
- Documentation & Training. Document system configurations and workflows, and provide guidance and training to internal teams on SecOps processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow, with a focus on Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response.
- Hands-on experience in configuring and deploying Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response applications.
- Technical Proficiency. Strong expertise in JavaScript, AngularJS, and other scripting languages within ServiceNow.
- Certification. Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in Security Incident Response (SIR) and/or Vulnerability Response (VR) is highly desired.
- Communication. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Leadership Skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and guide teams effectively, with a proactive and adaptable approach to project challenges.
