We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in ITIL processes and a comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow functionalities. The ideal candidate will possess robust skills in developing and configuring ServiceNow applications, including core ITSM modules, and have a proven track record of working with various ServiceNow features and integrations. This role demands a proactive individual with excellent troubleshooting abilities and a capacity for technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment, including modifications to applications, forms, workflows, and interfaces in alignment with ITIL standards.
- Develop and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Widgets, Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, ACLs, Transform Maps, and other core components.
- Create and adhere to standards, processes, and maintenance practices for existing environments.
- Develop use-case scenarios for testing and assist in translating business requirements into system requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design testing strategies for development, QA, and UAT environments.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the ServiceNow release upgrade process and its implementation.
- Utilize experience with ITSM modules including Incident, Request, Problem, Change, Case Management, and Service Portal.
- Integrate ServiceNow applications with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Employ advanced scripting capabilities with JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, HTML, XML, and Angular.
- Exhibit strong debugging and troubleshooting skills and an understanding of the end-to-end deployment process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of overall work experience, with at least 4 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow, focusing on core ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Case, and Agent Workspace.
- ServiceNow Developer Certifications, preferably CSA (Certified System Administrator) and CAD (Certified Application Developer).
- ITIL v4 certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated technical leadership.
