Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled SharePoint Administrator to join their team remotely from India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SharePoint Online and the M365 suite of tools, including Office 365 and Azure Active Directory. This role involves managing and optimizing SharePoint environments, ensuring system performance, and supporting the organization’s digital collaboration needs.

Responsibilities

  1. SharePoint Online Administration. Manage and configure SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, user permissions, and content management.
  2. M365 Suite Management. Utilize and support various tools within the M365 suite, specifically Office 365 and Azure AD, to enhance organizational efficiency and collaboration.
  3. System Monitoring and Optimization. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices to ensure optimal performance and reliability of SharePoint environments.
  4. User Support and Training. Provide support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues, creating documentation, and conducting training sessions as needed.
  5. Collaboration and Coordination. Work closely with IT teams and other departments to integrate SharePoint solutions with other business applications and services.
  6. Security and Compliance. Implement and enforce security policies, manage data protection, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Required Skills and Experience

  1. SharePoint Online Administration. Proven experience in administering SharePoint Online environments, including configuration, maintenance, and user management.
  2. M365 Suite. Proficiency with the M365 suite of tools, especially Office 365 and Azure AD, and experience in leveraging these tools for effective collaboration and productivity.

Preferred Skills

  1. Qdabra. Familiarity with Qdabra tools for SharePoint development and administration.
  2. SQL. Experience with SQL for database management and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
