We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise in Azure to enhance the reliability, performance, and efficiency of our systems. This role involves building tools, services, and automation to manage and improve our production services.
Key Responsibilities
- System Management. Ensure the reliability and performance of distributed systems and containerized deployments.
- Troubleshooting. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex distributed systems handling millions of queries per second, covering the entire stack (hardware, software, application, and network).
- Automation. Utilize languages like Perl, GoLang, or Python to automate tasks with minimal intervention.
- Infrastructure Design. Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure to support scaling for hundreds of thousands of concurrent users.
- Performance Testing. Drive performance testing, capacity planning, and high availability practices.
- Monitoring. Proactively monitor systems to identify and resolve issues that could impact infrastructure.
- Team Collaboration. Mentor new team members and foster a collaborative environment.
- On-call Rotation. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to address production incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Linux, system internals, security, networking, and monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services.
- Familiarity with database technologies, specifically MySQL/NoSQL.
- Proficient in command-line operations and scripting.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
