As part of the dynamic Infosys delivery team, you will be a core contributor in enabling our clients to advance on their digital transformation journeys. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, validate, and support data solutions built on Snowflake, ensuring robust performance, maintainability, and scalability.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to deeply understand their data requirements, map them into comprehensive system requirements, and translate those into innovative Snowflake-based solutions. This role demands a hands-on approach in building efficient data pipelines, optimizing queries, and integrating various data sources in a cloud-first environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust data solutions using Snowflake, ensuring performance and security.
- Gather and interpret business and technical requirements, translating them into scalable architecture and models.
- Build, test, and deploy SQL scripts, stored procedures, views, and data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Work closely with technology leads and project managers to support effort estimations and delivery timelines.
- Participate in end-to-end SDLC processes requirement gathering, solution design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation techniques and testing scenarios.
- Stay updated with industry trends, Snowflake releases, and best practices in cloud data warehousing.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, including features like Snowpipe, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, and Data Sharing.
- Good understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schema, normalization/denormalization).
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, performance tuning, and troubleshooting bottlenecks.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT frameworks and data orchestration tools (e.g., DBT, Apache Airflow, Informatica).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their data integration components.
- Solid grasp of data governance, security, and access controls in cloud environments.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
