As a Software Developer in Oracle software engineering division, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks. You will be responsible for defining and evolving standard practices and procedures to enhance our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug software for databases and applications.
- Collaborate on defining and evolving best practices within the software engineering team.
- Develop scalable, highly available, and secure distributed multi-tiered systems.
- Work with relational databases and develop RESTful APIs.
- Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, or Packer.
- Operate high-throughput software systems in cloud environments.
- Achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Education. BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Strong skills in object-oriented design and coding (Java or Python).
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle).
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, security, networking, monitoring, and deployments.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and relational databases.
