Responsibilities
- End-to-End Solution Development. Lead the development process according to the bank's standards, ensuring adherence to best practices and architecture guidelines.
- Solution Architecture. Analyze business requirements, trends, and patterns to propose and drive the best-fit solutions. Present these solutions to the Architecture Review Board for approval.
- Technical Advisory. Act as a technical advisor to platform owners, squad members, and software engineers, providing guidance throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Governance and Compliance. Ensure adherence to Enterprise Architecture standards, quality measures, and functional/non-functional requirements.
- Consultancy. Provide technical consultancy to IT and business stakeholders on technology best practices and problem analysis.
- Architectural Enhancements. Propose enhancements to improve security, agility, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Technology Awareness. Stay updated on technology and industry trends, integrating them into our architecture where appropriate.
Requirements
- Education. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related field.
- Experience. 8-10 years of experience in software development/system design, with core banking experience being essential.
- AWS Experience. Strong experience in AWS is a must.
- Development Skills. Proficiency in Java, Spring, microservices, and SOA principles.
- Cloud Native Expertise. Experience in cloud-native principles, designs, and deployments.
- Security. Expertise in SAML, OATH, IDP, Kong, and developing highly resilient and secured solutions.
- Integration Knowledge. Understanding of key integration patterns, API development, deployment, and governance.
- Continuous Integration/Deployment. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Financial Services Knowledge. Strong understanding of technology trends and their application in financial services.
