We’re hiring a Senior Integration & API Developer (Boomi) with 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise integration development. This is an exciting Contract-to-Hire (C2H) opportunity for someone ready to work on cutting-edge projects with global reach, while being part of a dynamic and collaborative remote team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and implementing real-time, batch, and event-driven integrations using Boomi AtomSphere.
- Creating and managing scalable, secure APIs using modern best practices.
- Collaborating with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specs.
- Developing robust error-handling, logging, and monitoring systems to enable proactive issue detection.
- Troubleshooting complex integration issues and providing Level 3 support.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation including technical designs, test plans, and operational guides.
- Supporting the CI/CD pipeline and participating actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Promoting standardization and best practices across the integration development team.
Must-Have Technical Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in integration development, especially using Boomi AtomSphere.
- Expertise in Boomi API Management, Boomi Flow, B2B/EDI integrations.
- Strong understanding of integration principles including REST, SOAP, ETL, messaging queues, and event-driven architecture.
- Prior experience integrating with platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, or similar.
- Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and building scalable, fault-tolerant integration solutions.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and cloud-based integration platforms.
- Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Boomi Professional or Architect Certification.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and other API security protocols.
- Exposure to microservices architecture, containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Understanding of ITIL processes, especially around incident and change management.
