As a Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation of complex business processes and solutions using the Mendix platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and adoption of technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance to clients on leveraging the Mendix platform effectively, setting high-quality application standards, and mentoring junior developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with implementation teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the Mendix platform, guiding clients on its optimal utilization.
- Lead by example, mentoring and coaching developers to maintain high-quality standards.
- Define and uphold guidelines for Mendix application development, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Foster communication and collaboration across teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Act as a beacon of excellence, inspiring and mentoring junior colleagues to reach their full potential.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Proven experience in application development and operations.
- Familiarity with API integrations and web front-end technologies.
- Knowledge of architecture patterns, database technologies, and common integration protocols.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English, additional language skills are a plus.
- Nice-to-have. Experience with low-code development platforms like Mendix.
