Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Digital Imaging Cloud Services team. In this role, you will develop and own innovative features, contributing to the creation of cutting-edge cloud software in the consumer creative services domain. You will have a significant impact on our strategy, helping to define cloud features for photo management and analysis, driving system architecture, and implementing best practices to ensure our services are highly available, scalable, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop features, services, and APIs for the Digital Imaging Cloud Platform.
  • Build reliable, scalable, and secure cloud services.
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and other engineering teams to shape the technical vision and roadmap.
  • Design, develop, and test large-scale, low-latency, high-volume services that handle millions of requests daily.
  • Create technical specifications, prototypes, and presentations to effectively communicate your ideas.
  • Stay current with industry technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to influence product direction.

What You Need to Succeed

  • 5-10 years of software development and programming experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services and tools like AWS, Docker, CI & CD tools, etc.
  • Excellent software design and development skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear and effective communication of technical details.
  • A motivated self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to work closely with client engineering teams and product management to deliver compelling solutions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot and adapt to new directions and technologies.
  • A mentor and role model for junior engineers.
  • Experience with product development and release methodologies such as Agile, Lean, and Scrum.
