Responsibilities
- Take ownership of front-end development for LinkedIn products, collaborating closely with User Experience Designers and Product Managers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Implement cutting-edge technologies, writing advanced code to maintain LinkedIn's technological leadership.
- Provide technical leadership by championing best engineering practices for large-scale, cross-functional, company-wide initiatives. Identify and leverage opportunities to enhance engineering productivity.
Basic Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding.
- 2+ years of hands-on web development experience with object-oriented JavaScript, jQuery, semantic HTML, and CSS.
- Experience in developing backend services using Java.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Ember, React) and debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc.).
- Knowledge and passion for current trends in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
- Proficient in Unit, Integration, and Visual Testing.
- Familiarity with JSP and Dust programming is advantageous.
- Ability and enthusiasm for programming progressive single-page applications (e.g., Backbone, Angular, Play framework).

- Strong grasp of Data Structures & Algorithms.
- Proficiency in Software Design principles.
