Google's Pixel team is seeking a Software Engineer to join its innovative and dynamic team. As a member of this team, you will be instrumental in developing the next generation of mobile experiences that redefine how users interact with technology. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics, leveraging the best of Google’s AI, software, and hardware.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- I have 2 years of experience with full-stack development, including back-end (e.g., Java, Python, GO, C++) and front-end (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 2 years of experience with performance analysis, large-scale systems, data visualization tools, and/or debugging.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Proficiency in code and system health diagnosis, resolution, and software test engineering.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer on the Pixel team, your responsibilities will include.
- Writing product or system development code.
- Participating in or leading design reviews to decide among available technologies.
- Reviewing code developed by other developers and providing feedback to ensure best practices.
- Contributing to existing documentation or educational content and adapting content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them by analyzing sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations.
Salary Range. $136,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits (US base salary range)
