As a Software Engineer at Emerson, you will play a pivotal role in the analysis, design, and implementation of technology solutions for our energy logistics application suite. Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise. Utilize your proficiency in Microsoft’s .NET technology stack (ASP.NET, C#), web-based enterprise applications (Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript), and modern databases (SQL Server, MongoDB) to develop scalable and efficient solutions.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Design and Implementation. Design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Agile Methodology. Apply Agile principles in software development processes, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver high-quality software increments.
- Integration and Testing. Integrate software components and third-party services, conduct thorough unit testing, and contribute to system testing and deployment activities.
- Documentation and Compliance. Document technical specifications, user guides, and test cases. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and automation within the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

- Familiarity with Agile methodology and its application in software development.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps tools and cloud environments is a plus.
- Understanding of AI/ML models and Selenium automated testing tool is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Previous experience in building AI/ML models and familiarity with Selenium automated testing tool.
- Experience with Azure DevOps tools and cloud environments.
