The Payments team at Google, responsible for making payments simple, seamless, and secure, is seeking a talented Software Engineer. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team facilitates money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Write code for product or system development.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders, making decisions on technology choices.
- Review code developed by other team members, providing feedback to ensure best practices, style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content, adapting it based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage and debug product or system issues, analyzing sources of problems and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
