Job Description

Gartner is seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to join our Sales Service and Corporate Engineering team. As a Salesforce Developer, you'll design and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce Platform. You'll be responsible for crafting Apex Classes, Triggers, Flows, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to enhance our Salesforce Org and support its evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyze requirements, providing effective solutions using Salesforce best practices.
  • Design, develop, and test solutions, including proof-of-concepts, to support implementation activities.
  • Manage and document critical customer cases, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional SCRUM team to enhance and maintain the Salesforce Platform.
  • Research and apply Salesforce best practices to improve system performance, scalability, and monitoring.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and peer inspections.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, focusing on root cause analysis.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura), LWC, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, and Force.com.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce design and architectural concepts.
  • Proven experience with third-party tool integrations and web API integrations.
  • Excellent software development and object-oriented design skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
