As a Software Engineer in our infrastructure and platforms team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and operating the next-generation infrastructure that powers LinkedIn's core applications. You'll be part of our world-class engineering team, collaborating with peers to deliver cutting-edge solutions at scale.
Responsibilities
- Platform Development. Design, build, and operate online data infrastructures that support LinkedIn's core applications.
- Collaboration. Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high development standards and ensure robust, scalable solutions.
- Feature Development. Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and implement impactful features with a focus on high velocity.
Basic Qualifications
- Education. BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience. Minimum of 2 years in software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions.
- Programming Skills. Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Java, Python, Go, and/or functional languages like Scala.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building machine learning platforms at scale.
- Familiarity with big data and AI techniques.
- Strong knowledge of distributed data processing technologies.
- Experience with industry-standard open-source projects and/or academic research in large-data, machine learning systems (e.g., Spark, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

- Proficiency in distributed systems and backend systems infrastructure.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
