Job Description & Qualifications
- Agile personality and Software Craftsmanship mindset for contributing and leading the agile team for quality deliverable
- Research new technologies, influences and implements enterprise technology shifts and new trends impacting Ford application delivery
- Simplifies complex ideas and conveys them clearly in both oral and written communication.
- Applies deep technical expertise in a specific application development language
- Develops and integrates complex enterprise application modules
- Responsible for Application Architecture, Implementation and integration of application development environments and tools
- Develops and advocates corporate standards in solution development and implementation
- Leads the investigation, review and recommendation of the adoption of new features, utilities and integration of new releases of core development tools consistent with Enterprise IT direction
- Champions the governance activities associated with ensuring compliance within development related areas
Area of professional exposure (technical skills)
Must Have Skills:
• 7+ yrs. overall IT experience including:
• 5+ yrs. of experience in Java, Functional Languages
• 5+ yrs. of Spring development experience
• 3+ Experience in working with technologies from the Front-end web stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript & TypeScript and JS Framework Angular
• 3+ Experience working with Cloud Environments like AWS/Azure/GCP
• 5+ yrs. of experience in (SQL / ORACLE / DB2 / SQL server / Mongo)
• 5+ yrs. of experience in JUnit, TDD
• 5+ yrs. of experience in Agile project involvement, Software Craftsmanship principle alignment
• 5+ yrs. of experience with Eclipse, IntelliJ
• 3+ yrs. of experience in JPA, JAX-WS/RS,
• 3+ yrs. of experience with Accurev, GIT, Gradle
• 3+ yrs. of experience with Object Oriented Analysis and design concepts
• 2+ yrs. of experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps tools.
