AccuSystems builds an enterprise document imaging and tracking platform that provides productivity and cost savings for banks. We are looking for smart, passionate engineers at many levels to help us power and deliver on this mission. This opportunity will allow you to work on a variety of products and services – such as our desktop scanning application, OCR and imaging services, licensing system, and our flagship web application, its database, subcomponents, and backend services.
Our programming philosophy is to write clean, correct, quality code that uses the best proven practices available to provide robust, easy to maintain solutions that ship once and don't come back from production, backed by automated tests, manual QA, code reviews, good software design, and collaboration.
In this role, you will strive to produce the vision, architecture, and design set forth by our Director of Software Development as part of one of several agile development teams. You will do this in collaboration with the director and your team members, and you will learn our existing application architecture, framework, coding practices, and agile practices and continue these in your work as we strive to complete our business and technology goals.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in TDD and test-first development is very highly preferred
- 4+ years of experience with coding in each of C#, T-SQL, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, and CSS
- 4+ years of experience with WPF and MVVM, ASP.NET Web API, SQL Server, and Internet Information Services technologies
- A Master’s degree (or bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of work experience equivalent) in computer science or a related field
- Preferred experience with Kendo UI for jQuery and MVVM
Bonus Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or experience with document imaging (OCR, TIF, PDF, imaging SDK's) and document formats TIF and PDF
- Knowledge and/or experience with TWAIN imaging (scanning)
- Knowledge of design patterns and decision-making process of when to apply them
- Knowledge of architectural design and development techniques like layered architecture, domain driven design principles, dependency injection, decoupled design, infrastructure and platform concerns
- Demonstrated experience in good graphic user interface design and user experience
