Opportunity Overview
LinkedIn is seeking Software Engineering interns to contribute to advanced information-retrieval algorithms, massive scalability infrastructure, storage solutions, and large-scale applications for web and mobile users. As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and collaborate with some of the brightest technical minds globally. The summer intern program offers hands-on experience working on impactful projects crucial to the company's success.
Role Requirements
- Location. This role requires full-time, in-office presence due to the nature of the work or equipment used onsite.
Responsibilities
Scale Distributed Applications
- Apply synchronous and asynchronous design patterns.
- Write efficient and quality code to deliver scalable solutions.
Develop User-Centric Applications
- Build multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable applications that operate 24x7.
- Ensure the development of high-quality software through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an expected graduation date by 2025.
- Experience in software design, development, and algorithmic solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Programming experience in Java, C/C++, and C#.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Educational background in computer science.
