SQL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Our client seeks an experienced and highly-motivated systems administrator with database administration experience to work with its technology teams. All candidates must meet the following criteria: 4+ years in Systems/Hardware administration. 2+ years SQL Server Administration Experience. (SQL 2000 and/or 2005) Preferred candidates would meet the following criteria: 1+ years of implementation experience with Hardware virtualization. (VMWare a plus) Previous experience with SAN planning and administration. Ability to leverage past experience to perform vendor solution evaluations and implementations Strong understanding of industry best practices in system administration. Sample Projects would include: * Hardware Performance Monitoring and Tuning * Growth Planning and Hardware recommendations * BCP Planning and implementation * Data Center Migrations and consolidation * Hardware virtualization * SQL Server Performance tuning and upgrades to 2005
