Primary Responsibilities
As an SSIS Developer, you will play a crucial role in the technical implementation and deployment of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Your responsibilities will include:
Technical Implementation
- Hands-on execution of SSIS, ensuring efficient and effective deployment of the technology.
- Design, develop, and test SSIS packages, adhering to best practices for optimal performance.
Requirement Support
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and support requirements.
- Ensure that design and development align with specified requirements.
SQL Scripting and Procedure Development.
- Create, review, analyze, and modify SQL scripts, procedures, and supporting programs.
- Guarantee the proper execution of SQL artifacts to meet business needs.
Technical Troubleshooting
- Demonstrate a proven ability to perform technical troubleshooting.
- Diagnose, isolate, and correct data-related issues promptly.
Technical Support
- Provide technical support for existing SSIS packages and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve technical issues.
Key Qualifications
Experience
3.0 to 5.0 years of hands-on experience in SSIS development and deployment.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in designing, developing, and testing SSIS packages.
- Strong background in creating, reviewing, and modifying SQL scripts and procedures.
Troubleshooting Skills
Proven ability to perform technical troubleshooting for data-related issues.
Collaboration
Ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand and support requirements.
Collaborative mindset for effective teamwork.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with additional ETL tools and technologies.
- Experience in optimizing SSIS packages for performance.
