Location: Alpharetta, GA Tax term: CON_CORP CON_IND CON_W2 Pay rate: Open Length: 6 + Months Position ID: BB07072 Job description: Title: SQL Server Developer Seniority: Senior Level Location: Windward Parkway (30004) Job description: This position requires the services of a senior level developer to enhance an existing reporting capability using Stored Procedures (T-SQL), Excel and Reporting Services. This developer will also be required to use their excellent communication skills and their experiences in delivering reports on a Microsoft platform to analyze this legacy reporting capability and to develop a plan for the upgrade or replacement in 2008. This individual will, throughout the course of this assignment, be responsible for Architecting, Developing, Enhancing, Fixing, Unit Testing, Deploying, Documenting and Supporting this MS reporting capability. Required skills and experience level: * Experience with SQL Server 2005 and related Microsoft BI tools (SSIS, Analytics, and Reporting Services). * Development Experience with SQL Server - 5+ years * Development Experience with Microsoft SQL Reports Services - 1 year * Experience with reports delivery on a Microsoft platform - 3 years * Experience with ETL with SQL Server using, for example, DTS, SSIS and/or T-SQL - 3+ years * Experience with all MS Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Word - 5+ years * Ability to effectively analyze systems to produce quality derived requirements * Ability to produce effective Technical documents * Excellent written and oral communication skills. Desirable skills: * Knowledge of SDLC processes * Knowledge of ERWin, Rational Rose or comparable tool for ER diagrams * .NET Development
