As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Visa’s IT systems and infrastructure. This role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing our ServiceNow platform to support a connected and collaborative workforce. You will be part of a team that delivers seamless IT services to support Visa’s global operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Test Solutions. Create, test, and debug new functionalities while maintaining and enhancing existing features to meet the dynamic needs of the organization.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving. Identify and resolve errors within ServiceNow configurations, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted service delivery.
- Requirement Analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify gaps, and propose effective configuration options with their respective advantages and trade-offs.
- User-Centric Design. Develop intuitive and user-friendly software solutions, empowering internal customers to tailor functionalities to their specific business needs.
- Documentation and Technical Excellence. Write comprehensive technical documentation covering all infrastructure aspects, ensuring clarity and consistency across the development lifecycle.
- Collaboration and Communication. Work closely with business analysts, internal customers, and other technical teams to clarify requirements, design solutions, and communicate project progress during meetings and daily scrums.
- Time and Resource Management. Research existing systems, analyze program requirements, and provide accurate time estimates and justifications for new projects and updates.
What We’re Looking For
Basic Qualifications
- A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR
- 5+ years of professional experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and Expertise
- At least 4 years of experience with ServiceNow development and configuration.
- Proficiency in working with ServiceNow IT Service Management, Portal, and Mobile modules.
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, CSS, REST, SOAP, and HTML.
- Familiarity with relational databases, APIs, and web services.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow tools such as UI Policies, Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, Mid Server Configuration, Transform Maps, and more.
Security Features
- Experience with ServiceNow’s security capabilities, including user administration, roles, groups, and ACLs.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)
- CSA (Certified ServiceNow Admin)
- CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist)
- CAD (Certified Application Developer)
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical skills for business process and workflow analysis.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with internal customers, system administrators, and leadership.
