You will play a pivotal role in Visa’s transformation into a data-driven payments industry leader, leveraging advanced analytics to enhance our Benefits, Loyalty, and Marketing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop complex big data systems to tackle diverse analytical challenges.
- Utilize your deep expertise in data engineering and analytics technologies to drive innovative solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, transforming raw data into actionable insights and visualizations.
- Employ statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques to derive business value from data.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders and non-technical teams in a clear and compelling manner.
- Contribute to the long-term data architecture strategy, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or over 8 years with an Advanced Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science with expertise in data analytics, data engineering, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in data models, data mining, segmentation methods, and data analysis tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Scala, Python, SQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Datorama.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical models is advantageous.
- Proven track record in developing data-driven analytics architectures and building robust data pipelines.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in Agile environments managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
