Role

As an Engineer in Quality, you will.

• Own and maintain the quality of large features, products, or services, ensuring an exceptional end-user experience.
• Define and execute the quality process and metrics across all releases, taking complete ownership of the process.
• Independently define execution paths, account for external dependencies, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet timelines.
• Communicate any changes or delays in release cycles or sprint plans to stakeholders.
• Lead change initiatives by logically evangelizing the need for change and building credible arguments.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and team members, leveraging your expertise to solve complex problems.
• Deliver solutions despite uncertainties and manage unanticipated changes.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in runtime.

Minimum Qualifications

• BTech, MTech, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and critical thinking.
• 5+ years of software development and testing experience with strong people management skills.
• Experience in automation for UI, mobile applications, APIs, web, and performance testing.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, Swift).
• Experience testing mobile apps on iOS and Android OS and exposure to performance testing.
• Knowledge of test methodology, tools, software testing standards, build systems, and the product development cycle.
• Experience with continuous integration tools and version control systems.
• Creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.
• Willingness and flexibility to switch between multiple high-priority assignments.
• Exposure to DevOps tech stack like Docker, Jenkins, Mesos & Marathon.
