Job Description

Adobe is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Consultant to join our India Professional Services team. In this role, you will work closely with our clients and partners to solve complex business challenges using Adobe’s cutting-edge technologies. You will provide expert guidance and lead large-scale consulting engagements, ensuring that our solutions are effectively implemented and deliver value.

What You'll Do

  1. Lead Consulting Engagements. Manage and lead large, multi-solution consulting projects with Adobe clients and partners. Drive the technical and strategic aspects of these engagements.
  2. Solution Architecture. Use your technical expertise to design and implement solution architectures. Work with solution specialists to craft effective solutions that address client needs.
  3. Build Relationships. Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients and partners. Act as a key point of contact and provide ongoing support and advice.
  4. Project Leadership. Take charge during project discovery and delivery phases, collaborating with Delivery Managers and Project Managers to ensure successful outcomes.
  5. Problem Solving. Analyze complex project issues, develop multiple solution options, and present recommendations to clients.
  6. Team Leadership. Lead and mentor teams of technical specialists from Adobe or partner organizations. Foster technical expertise and share best practices within the team.
  7. Thought Leadership. Contribute to the Adobe technical community by developing and sharing best practices, setting strategic direction, and driving innovation.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience. 5+ years of experience with a strong foundation in object-oriented design principles and concepts.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Java/JEE application development.
  • Experience with AEM Forms, including Adaptive Forms/Fragments, OSGi workflows, and components.
  • Knowledge of XDP development and Adobe LiveCycle modules (Forms, Process Management, Rights Management, etc.).
  • Skills in developing web services (SOAP/REST) and working with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery, and AJAX.
  • Familiarity with RDBMS and Agile development environments.
  • Experience in Adobe LiveCycle upgrades (ES2/ES3/ES4) is a plus.
