Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Product Manager (TPM) who will serve as a payment domain expert within our CyberSource division. This is a hands-on role that involves analyzing business requirements, studying payment processor specifications, and translating them into technical specifications. You will work closely with analysts, engineering, and test engineering teams to build and refine features and products that delight our merchants, partners, consumers, and developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a hands-on expert, converting business rules into technical specifications for various teams.
  • Define and test business rules using proprietary tools and languages, ensuring project delivery.
  • Collaborate with architects and technical teams on implementation details.
  • Partner with card acquirers, banks, and strategic partners to expand our global payment processing footprint.
  • Synthesize requirements into a unified set of platform and service capabilities.
  • Own the product lifecycle from concept to GoTo Market, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction, ensuring that product vision aligns with long-term global goals.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings and collaborate with development and QA teams to meet business requirements.
  • Lead GoTo Market activities, working closely with program management, business units, finance, operations, legal, and external partners.
  • Ensure robust monitoring capabilities are in place, enabling data-driven decision-making.

Who You Are

  • You have 8-12 years of experience in a technology environment, with a proven track record of delivering complex software systems or services.
  • You have 4+ years of experience in the Payment Gateway space, with deep knowledge of alternative payment methods, card networks, and the full transaction lifecycle.
  • You possess strong leadership skills and the ability to drive consensus across global cross-functional teams.
  • You are adept at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on execution.
  • You have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interface with clients, partners, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • You have a strategic mindset, balanced by a hands-on approach to product management.
  • You are a fast learner, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong customer-centric mindset.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
