Purpose of the Role
- Operations. Provide comprehensive support for our suite of services, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Incident Management. Respond promptly to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences. Prioritize and escalate critical issues as necessary to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Change Management. Collaborate with release managers to ensure smooth and successful deployments. Conduct post-deployment reviews to capture lessons learned and enhance future deployment processes.
- Performance Monitoring. Monitor service performance metrics, analyze trends, and proactively identify areas for optimization and improvement. Implement measures to enhance system reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of applications and alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operations or a related field
- Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and operations
- Experience with incident management and change management processes
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
