We're looking for an experienced and passionate Test Automation Engineer to join our growing Finance Technology Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our critical financial applications such as Oracle Fusion, Concur, Coupa, BlackLine, and other enterprise-grade platforms.
As a Test Automation Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, with a focus on both UI and API test coverage. You’ll also help drive the shift-left testing culture and integrate test automation seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines to enhance development velocity and product quality.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, scale, and maintain robust QA automation frameworks using Java (mandatory), and optionally Python or JavaScript.
- Design test strategies and write automated test cases for enterprise finance systems, ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance needs.
- Use low-code/no-code tools such as UiPath Test Manager to configure, deploy, and monitor test workflows.
- Perform API automation testing using Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI to validate REST/SOAP integrations across financial platforms.
- Integrate automated tests into Atlassian’s CI/CD ecosystem using tools like Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub Actions.
- Utilize Generative AI capabilities to optimize, refactor, and auto-generate test scripts based on user stories and business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business analysts, in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Proactively identify test coverage gaps and contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and tools.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation for enterprise applications.
- Strong proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Katalon.
- Solid experience with Java (mandatory), working knowledge of Python or JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong expertise in API testing and performance testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, JMeter, or SoapUI.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket.
- Demonstrated experience integrating test automation with development pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to evolving requirements in Agile/Scrum settings.
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
- Background knowledge of finance/ERP systems including Oracle Fusion, Concur, Coupa, or BlackLine.
- Experience writing SQL queries for backend data validation across financial applications.
- Exposure to test reporting and dashboarding for traceability and transparency of test executions.
